Interim Measures concerning Curbing the Making of Exorbitant Profits
Article
1 In
order to safeguard the order of the socialist market economy, curb the
making of exorbitant profits, and protect the lawful rights and interests
of consumers, these Measures are hereby formulated.
第二条 本规定适用于对国民经济和社会发展有重大影响的和与居民生活有密切关系的商品和服务（以下简称商品和服务）。
Article
2 These
Measures shall apply to the commodities and services which have great
impact on the national economy and social development and have a close
relationship to the residents’ lives (hereinafter referred to as the
“commodities and services”).
前款规定的商品和服务的项目，由国务院价格主管部门按照国务院的有关规定公布、调整；其中实行国家定价的，按照国家定价和国务院有关价格管理的规定执行。
The
department in charge of price under the State Council shall, according to
the relevant provisions stipulated by the State Council, publish and
adjust the items of commodity and service specified in the preceding
paragraph published and adjusted by; those whose prices are fixed by the
State, shall be implemented according to State fixed prices and the
provisions stipulated by the State Council on price administration.
